Mom & dad are still in Montreal, NLP still in Burlington. Grandma says she ate like a champ, slept through most of the night, and woke up happy.

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009No Reports Today
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009No reports today, because NLP is in Burlington with her grandparents while mom & dad are in Montreal living it up. The bedtime report from grandma was that she ate pretty well today and went to sleep with almost no complaining at all.
Night
Monday, September 28th, 2009Bedtime was kind of a fiasco, with the whole family a bit confused by the time change. Nora went down at 7-8 EST but then woke up after a couple of hours and would not be put back to sleep (lots of crying) until we got her up and played with her for a while. She finally went to sleep around 10:30. But when she did finally go to sleep, she slept like a champ, straight through until 6:00, when I got her up and gave her about 3oz of formula, with her actually sucking on the bottle a little. She went back to sleep until about 8:30. Best of all: mom managed to sleep all the way through the night, a first since Nora was born.

Nights this week
Friday, September 25th, 2009I took the 1am-ish feeding most nights this past week. We had a couple nights where she took an ounce or so of formula before pushing it away and falling asleep. One night where she just wasn’t interested and wanted to go to sleep. And one where she actually took three ounces and sucked a little at the end (usually, it’s just chewing) and then went right to sleep.
Breakfast
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009A huge handful of “cheerios” and 2.5 Tbsp baby oatmeal mixed with pear juice, breastmilk and 1 Tbsp plain yogurt
Dinner
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009Finger food: chicken, swiss, cheddar, avocado, mostly declined.
Carrots and tomatoes, declined.
Breakfast
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009Finger food: chicken, whole wheat bread, tiny butter cubes, ginger, cinnamon.
Oatmeal with milk and pear juice.
Oatmeal with melted butter, zucchini (one cube), and parmesan.
Plain yogurt with pluot.
She’s been enjoying the cinnamon, so I tried her on a little ground ginger. She was okay with it, not as into it as the cinnamon. But then she ate some herself on her finger and it was obviously too strong for her. Her faces were funny.
Night
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009Erica got up with NLP at 1-2 and fed her. I got up with her at about 5:30. She took about an ounce of formula from her dragonfly bottle, after playing with it for a while. But after a while she kept pushing it away and complaining a lot. So I let her go to sleep on me and put her back in her crib at about 6:30. She was awake again for breakfast at 7:15.
